More than a sporting celebration, the initiative showed how Olympism can contribute to the civic education of children and adolescents. The initiative is part of a project that brings Olympic values into the school environment through educational activities, talks, and sports practices. The proposal follows a global initiative by the International Olympic Committee that seeks to bring young people closer to the principles behind the Olympic Games.

EJA opens enrollment and expands opportunities for young people and adults
The Goiás State Department of Education (Seduc-GO) opened the enrollment period for Youth and Adult Education (EJA) on June 22. Applications are open until July 19 and are intended for people who wish to resume their studies and complete elementary or high school.
