On Ser Goiás na TV, psychologist and specialist in Human Resources, recruitment and selection, and director of A3 Consultoria, Anita Luzine, explained how students can begin building this path while still in school.
According to the specialist, skills such as communication, organization, creativity, responsibility, and adaptability are increasingly valued by companies.
“The professional of the future needs to be prepared to keep learning. Changes happen quickly, and the ability to reinvent oneself has become an essential skill,” she emphasizes.
A professional future begins before the first job
For many students, thinking about a career can cause anxiety, especially under the pressure to make a definitive choice. However, Anita explains that career paths are increasingly flexible.
The idea that there is only one possible path is giving way to careers built through different experiences, learning, and discoveries over time.
“Today, young people do not need to see their career choice as a decision that will define their entire life. What matters is understanding their interests, developing skills, and being open to opportunities,” she says.
Skills that make a difference
Beyond technical knowledge, the job market seeks professionals who can solve problems, work as a team, and adapt to new scenarios.
These skills can begin to be developed at school through projects, group work, challenges, and experiences that foster autonomy and agency.
According to the specialist, the school plays an important role in preparing students not only for a job opening, but for a more complete professional journey.
“When a student learns to organize an idea, deal with difficulties, and work as a team, they are developing skills that will be useful in any field,” she explains.

Mistakes, changes of plans, and difficulties are part of building any career. For Anita, learning how to deal with these situations is also a form of growth.
“Things will not always happen the way we planned. What matters is turning each experience into learning and continuing to grow,” she advises.
The message for young people is that their professional future does not need to be seen only as a demand, but as a daily construction.
